This week started off so Incredible!!!!! We Had the Incredible opportunity on Tuesday to baptize our investigator! It was a beautiful experience! it was my first time getting to give the big spiritual talk to our investigator!!! I was actually really fun to give and gave me a chance to bear my testimony to our investigator for the last time! The spirit is so strong when you do things in the lords name!!! He is doing so well and he has so many incredible examples all around him!!!!! He is already planning to serve a mission!!! Wow its crazy to think that just a few weeks ago this same guy was trying to run away from us so we couldn't teach him, and now he want to serve the lord!!!
This week we have been working on 3 strong investigators!!!! Our first one has been taught by 4 sets of missionaries!!!!!! Its kinda funny she knows the lessions like the back of her hand!!! She has such a strong testimony, but she says she has given up on being baptised because her family would not approve! It was hard to explain to her that we have to sometime do the Lords will and trust that all will be fine.... faith has been a big focus on what we have been teaching her..... This last week we challeged her to bear her testimony to her mom and dad and express her desires to join our church and if she did then she would receive help from our savior! She accepted and we will be meeting with her tomorrow to see how it went. I have full and all faith in my Father in Heaven that he will provide a way for her and all will work out and that she will be able to make the precious covenants with our Savior..
Our other investigators are are husband and wife!! We have taught them all the lessons and have committed them to be baptized! They have both decided it is the way they want to go in life is to follow there Savior!!! The husband struggles with smoking so we are doing our best to figure out what we can do to help him!
We are also working with a lot of less active families.... like Brooklin said in her letter there are a lot of people here in Tonga that got baptized and don't know one thing about the church or why they got baptized. So, we are doing our best and we are fighting for the Lords army! I am so proud and so honored to have been called to Tonga! There are people here that I am suppose to touch! I love you all!!!!
Oh... P.S. Dad I know you would want to know! I caught my first fish here in Tonga with my companion!!!! Yes dad you would be proud me and my comp woke up this morning at 6am and went and caught us some breakfast, as you already know we don't get food until the evenings.... Love you all!!!!! Hahaha. we used a fishing pole most the time, but Tongans just use the string and a hook, it's actually a lot more successful!!!!! You should try it:)
Love you all, like always you are in my prayers!!!
